Deep dark ruby with an opaque core, and a fine, watery rim. It has a multi-faceted bouquet of fine blackberry confit, black cherry, tobacco spiciness, a touch of minerality and candied orange zest. In the mouth it is complex, with a taut texture, ripe cherry fruit, fine tannins and a pronounced fruity finish with a salty aftertaste.
