The white wine » Kalkstein« Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Manz has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose there are aromas of quince and pear, paired with dried herbs and a fine minerality. On the palate the wine shows a fine fruitiness, supple acidity, subtle use of wood and a creamy body with good length.
