The white wine »Große Lage« Forst Jesuitengarten Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Margarethenhof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Initially restrained on the nose, some spicy wood notes and, with aeration, also some stone fruit. On the palate, salty and pure with grapefruit, the firm structure is enhanced by some maturation in wood, but elegant sweetness, vivid acidity and tension. Lots of future ageing potential.
