Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with purple reflections and a broad brightening rim. Underlaid with fresh herbal savouriness the nose has black forest berry confit, animalistic aspects and some tobacco. Juicy and tightly meshed, on the palate with sweet blackberry confit and fine, supporting tannins, finesse-rich structure. This is light-footed and mineral, long lasting with ripe cherries on the finish, very good ageing potential.
