The red wine Strümpfelbach Altenberg Syrah trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Mödinger has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Juniper berries, black pepper and a whole range of other dried spices are fragrant in the glass. In addition, almost beguilingly, black cherry, blueberry, dried plum and sloe. Complex on the palate, grainy tannins, lively acidity and plenty of youthfulness promise a long shelf life.
