Dark ruby red, opaque, purple hues, a subtle brightening on the rim. Attractive dark forest berry fruit, a hint of black cherries, subtle candied violets, tobacco. Taut, tightly meshed, elegant, nuances of fine red berries, ripe tannins, a mineral-salty finish, very good length, a fine saltiness in the aftertaste, enormous ageing potential, but already drinking well.
