A dark ruby red, with good depth, purple hues, a subtle brightening on the rim. Attractive dark forest berry fruit, a hint of black cherries and candied violets, still somewhat reserved, a promising bouquet. Taut, tightly woven, with almost austere fruit, fine red berry nuances, ripe tannins, a mineral-salty finish, very good length, fine savoury notes in the aftertaste, enormous ageing potential.
