The red wine »Matsimum« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Mussler has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Syrah from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A fine cloud of pipe tobacco on the elegant nose, blackcurrant, blackberry and mulberry, cool smoke. The delicate extraction is reflected in a very good balance, depth and elegance are on a par, the juicy fruit with some morello cherry carries through to the finish.
