The red wine »Matsimum« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Mussler has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Syrah from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Red and black fruity, ethereal fragrance, slightly sweet with potpourri notes, plum confit, morello cherries, dark chocolate, kirsch, mocha. The fruity sweetness is also vivid on the palate, even though the wine is dry. Very round, supple tannins, good on its own or as an accompaniment to a hearty goulash.
