The red wine Versal Rot Weinberg Dolomiten IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Oberstein has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Vernatsch from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red. Cherry fruit and savoury nuances on the nose, like freshly ground pepper. On the palate it shows also with a delicate peppery undertone, plus juicy tannins, spreads pithily over the tongue, with persistence.
