Clear straw yellow colour. Very classic Riesling nose, subtle fruit in combination with floral and delicately spicy notes, with a slightly smoky undercurrent, already inviting. Very mineral on the palate, pure, racy, with a slender radicality that already divided opinion with the 2010 Kastanienbusch. Despite its length and drama, the wine seems a little older than it is, and also less concentrated than before. Rebholz's path remains exciting. Nobody will deny that the wine is not lacking in tension and minerality. However, it is not able to serve meaty sensuality.
