Tasting Notes
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aroma nuances of asphalt, with a spicy herbal touch, damp stone, ripe cherry, and a hint of plum and orange zest in the background. On the palate it is taut, finely woven, with lovely cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, a pleasant savouriness on the finish, and a lively and salty aftertaste. It has good ageing potential.
