The rosé »Chillig« Flonsheim Rosé, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Pauser has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sauter, Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Benjamin Vombach, Dominik Herzog with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Merlot from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Deep salmon pink. Slightly buttery on the nose, sweet cherry, herbal and savoury notes. In the mouth, substance, crisp acidity and vivid sweetness form the background for quite fresh fruit. The wine is low in alcohol, but nevertheless has good intensity and very good length. A pinch of carbonic acid provides additional tension.
