The white wine Chardonnay feinherb, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Pauser has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Buttery notes, corn slices, tangerine. Somewhat soft limestone. The palate is juicy, quite tense, also mineral-tinged, peppery, with subtle phenolics and a good interplay of sweetness and acidity. One of the rare cases in which Chardonnay works on the palate.
