The red wine »SP« Ungstein Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Pfeffingen has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Very intensive use of wood, smoky, currently only a hint of fruit: elderberry, and floral notes. The palate appears significantly less wood-influenced: soft and silky, very fine phenolics, subtle acidity. Excellently fruity vintage type.
