The red wine »SP« Ungstein Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Pfeffingen has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Sweet and tart on the nose, with the fruity fragrance loaded with cranberry, raspberry, strawberry and smoky currant leaf. On the palate there's a good structure, ripe tannins and a well integrated acidity. Juicy red and dark fruit are on show again and contribute good length.
