The red wine Neuberg, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Philipp Grassl has been rated in 2014 with 89 - 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, broad rim brightening. Still somewhat restrained, clear herbal spice, ripe cherry fruit, subtle hint of wood. Powerful, chocolaty, present tannins, spicy aftertaste, ripe plums on the finish, extract-sweet finish.
