Dark ruby with an opaque core and purple reflections, brightening at the rim. Fine oak spice with vanilla, nougat, blackberries, delicate liquorice, tangerine zest, and a hint of herbs. It is juicy, tightly meshed, and elegant, with fresh ripe cherries, ripe supporting tannins, subtle nougat, and minerality. Long, with red berries on the finish. Certain ageing potential.
