Deep ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Delicate notes of liquorice and sour cherry, with dark wild berries in the background, smoky herbal savouriness and candied orange zest also in the background. Taut, mineral, red berry nuances, fresh structure, salty-mineral, cool style, already well developed, a multi-faceted food companion.
More about the tastingDeep ruby, purple glints, faintly lighter ochre hue at the rim. Tobacco nuances, subtle toasty scents, black cherries, blackberries, and a hint of nougat. Rich, refined fruit expression, elegant and well-balanced, ripe tannins, superseded by a soft caramel finish and mineral reverberations. Excellent length, a bold supper accompaniment with ageing potential.
