Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights at the rim. Subtle notes of precious wood, blackberries, black cherries, a hint of cassis, delicate herbal spice, an inviting bouquet, underpinned by a touch of nougat. Powerful, mineral-driven, ripe cherries, round, well-structured tannins, subtle saltiness; still seems quite young, will benefit from bottle aging.
