Brilliant, brightening garnet red. Appealing, very finely drawn nose with notes of raspberry cordial, ripe blackberries and plums, forest floor in the background. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate, grippy tannins, already quite grown-up, with a noticeable overhang of wood on the finish.
