The sweet and dessert wine »Steckenpferd« Riesling Spätlese, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Prinz von Hessen has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The aroma is reminiscent of oriental dried fruit, with honeydew melon, fully ripe apricot and baked apple. Beautifully balanced sweetness on the palate, which forms a harmonious alliance with the playful acidity. Ripe fruit is evident and has a good length.
