A powerful nose of herbs and spices such as allspice, white honey and quince. Plump juiciness on the palate, allied to a crisp acidity with plenty of freshness. Fine apple notes of Golden Delicious emerge, with red gooseberries and ripe lemons too. Animatingly long on the tongue.
