Tasting Notes
Medium gold hue. Intense aroma of apricot, dried apricot with camomile and dried sage, fine spice pervaded by a dash of saffron. On the palate, a slight viscosity, soft and juicy mouthfeel accentuated by ripe and refined acidity, mellowed tannins and elegant astringency. Superbly matured.
More about the tastingPetrol meets Champagne truffle! So much for the aroma. Unfortunately, the wine falls away on the palate, seems tired and lacks freshness through acidity. The former format is recognisable, but the zenith has probably been passed.
