The white wine »Alte Reben« Escherndorf Lump Silvaner Erste Lage trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Rainer Sauer has been rated in 2016 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
On the nose it is clearly reminiscent of pimpernell, borage and tarragon. On the palate there is a pleasant sweetness, flavours of fresh oyster and green apple. Creamy with sufficient acidity, well integrated alcohol and personality full.
