The white wine Escherndorf »am Lumpen 1655« Silvaner GG, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Rainer Sauer has been rated in 2018 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
The nose offers hints of oak backed up by the spicy varietal aromas. There's subtle hints of flowers and limestone, too. On the palate, a balsam: soft and creamy, the fruit is very concentrated in flavour, immensely fine in its acidity, full of inner peace and balance with a complex finish.
