The white wine Escherndorf am Lumpen 1655 Silvaner GG, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Rainer Sauer has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Ripe pear on the nose, apple peel, bread crust, nutty aromas and also a dash of elderflower. Dense and with rich extract on the palate, properly dry and pervaded by minerality, monumental, yet power and substance are in good balance. Serene and impressive!
