The red wine »Simonroth« Lemberger trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schnaitmann has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Yeasty notes dominate the nose, whilst with a little air notes of blackberries, liquorice and woody spice emerge. Good, linear tension on the palate continues all the way through to the finish, supported by fine-grained and juicy tannins. The fruit is vivid and pure, with plenty of ageing potential.
