This has a medium ruby colour. It is fully ripe on the nose, with aromas of plum, blackberry, and intense but fine toasty nuances, and some shoe polish. It is pleasantly slender and elegant on the palate, again with ripe fruit and toasty nuances. There is a brisk acidity, with ripe but noticeable tannins, and an appropriate length on the finish.
