The white wine »Quarzit« Bingen Silvaner trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Riffel has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Spicy, nutty varietal type, with very good clarity and plenty of expression. On the palate, the wine shows a completely unapologetic mellowness, a delicate bitterness brings a distinctive note into play, the acidity carries and mineral notes underline everything.
