The red wine »Réserve« Bingen Bubenstück Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Riffel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Delicate cherry red in colour. On the nose sloe, sour cherry, wild blueberry and some smoke - a pithy and fresh aroma. Ripe, grippy tannins on the palate support the cherry fruit with a mineral edge. It's very elegant and fine, but still with traction and power.
