Blackcurrant on the nose, ripe without any rum pot notes. Comparatively strong tannic structure, forest-inspired, undergrowth, cranberry, very light chimney soot, cocoa bean. Not quite with the charm of Pinot Noir, more earthiness - the pinnacle of the grape variety.
