It has a deep garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There are delicate aroma notes of nougat and biscuit, a hint of vanilla, lovely fine oak nuances, as well as ripe black cherry, and plum. It is juicy, silky, with a pleasant fruit sweetness, velvety tannins, a good freshness, elegance and persistence, and a hint of nougat, and it has reached perfect drinking maturity. This is a great example of the grape variety, showing its exceptional freshness, and it has developed magnificently.
