The white wine Nackenheim Silvaner trocken, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Schätzel has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Mirabelle plum, orange, bitter orange on the nose, with stony and yeasty aromas. Still closed on the palate, full-bodied and dense, taut acidity, lots of substance, viscous layers behind the phenolics, compact finish. Tart style, delicately bitter with lots of minerality. Still young - has a great future!
