The red wine The Zweigelt Ried Prädium, vintage 2017 from the winery Scheiblhofer The Wine has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Burgenland in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are inviting aromas of black berry fruit, nuances of blackberry, cassis and liquorice, and all discreetly underlaid with vanilla and nougat. It is juicy, powerful, yet elegant, with ripe tannins, and a chocolaty finish. It displays youthfulness and good length, and it has sure ageing potential.
