The white wine »Reserva« Silvaner, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Scheuring has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
A strong yellow in color. On the nose, there are aromas of banana, apple ring, nutty ripe aromas and ripe tones of red apple and stewed apple. On the palate, you are surprised by a strong carbonic acidity, which is also accompanied by a pleasant saltiness and a taut, but also finely woven phenolics. A lively acidity leads to a fresh finish. Original, but also controversial.
