Still yeasty on first contact, the aroma opens up into fruit characterised by overripe grapes: cassata, dates, candied sugar. The flow on the palate is more elegant than powerful, a brilliant acidity dominates the sweetness and the rather measured viscosity. The finish is terpene-driven and shows further flavour and certain ageing potential. A gastronomic Vienna.
