The white wine »Unexpected« Scheurebe feinherb, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Schloss Proschwitz – Prinz zur Lippe has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Saxony in Germany.
A delightful nose of orange biscuit and kumquats. Clearly red-fruited on the palate with an intense redcurrant flavour. Elegant and non-drippy with a fine sweetness that never saturates. Stays well on the palate and surprises with a light ginger savouriness and a juicy drinking flow.
