The white wine Riesling trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Schloss Schönberg has been rated in 2019 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Notes of spontaneous fermentation on the nose, as well as some herbal, malty and smoky tones. It's dry and slightly salty on the palate with a rather soft base. The slender shape feels balanced thanks to the delicate acidity that creates density and tension, but also finesse and animating drinking flow.
