The red wine Biebelnheimer Pilgerstein Pinot Noir, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Schönhals has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The Pinot is still a little restrained on the nose, but there are already savoury aromas of ground coriander and a deep cherry fruit as well as a slightly earthy tone. On the palate, however, it has plenty of power and a pronounced acidity. It should be put down for a while to allow the full aroma to unfold.
