Tasting Notes
Round, rich nose with ripe yellow fruit and juicy stone fruit, dark caramel spice and a hint of petrol. Mouth-filling, mineral, fresh. Fine grip and dark spiciness. Tapers on the finish towards herbal, citrusy juiciness.
More about the tastingBarrel sample, spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels, still on the lees at the time of tasting. Subtly citrusy on the nose, some damp stone, increasingly balsamic with air contact, slightly phenolics, mineral on the palate, shows some bite behind a soft and full-bodied background. Well bundled. Combines stature with concentrated fullness.
