The sekt »Pinot R« brut nature, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Siegloch has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Schwarzriesling, Spätburgunder, Weißburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Yeasty and buttery aromas dominate the fragrance, including a hint of brioche. The savoury palate provides refreshment, and this with substance: ripe acidity, Burgundy berry notes and a dynamic mousse intertwine. Residual sugar would only get in the way. A sparkling wine with an idea!
