The red wine Cuvée Nestor 02 Reserve, vintage 2020 from the winery Nestor has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet with purple reflections and a broad ochre rim. Fine nuances of precious wood and a hint of cassis and blackberries on the nose, as well as a touch of liquorice and lime zest. Taut and tightly meshed on the palate, with a core of fresh red cherries and ripe currants underlaid by a mineral note. There's a subtle fruit sweetness on the finish which remains well and offers good development potential.
