The red wine »Alte Reben« Klingenberg Spätburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Steintal has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Herbal, savoury and mineral notes dominate the nose, with hints of sage candy, damp sand and heart cherry. The palate is dense with somewhat dry tannins, the tactile minerality gives the full-bodied structure liveliness, the slightly clinging tannins have a good maturity for the vintage, light green tones are integrated.
