The red wine »Alte Reben« Klingenberg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Steintal has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Franconia in Germany.
Initially very reductive on the nose, then quickly turning into notes of sour cherry, dark raspberry and dried tomato. The palate reveals a powerfully structured wine with ripe acidity and the typical richness of the steep slope. Nevertheless, the finish is fine and nuanced.
