The white wine »Der Frentsch« trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Störrlein Krenig has been rated in 2018 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Sylvaner , Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Gelber Muskateller, Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Full and at the same time very clear spiciness, traminer character, smoky, nutmeg, mace, rosemary, perilla. Dense material on the palate, fully fermented, ripe acidity, a muscular wine recommended for a long bottle ageing. It is currently closed on the finish but it is complex.
