The sweet and dessert wine Anima vit est Sauvignon Passito Mitterberg IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Thomas Pichler has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
It has a radiant shimmering light gold colour. There are aromas of dried apricot, dried pear, and date on the nose, with a hint of peppery spiciness and roasted hazelnut. It has a great sweet fruit core on the palate, underpinned by lovely juiciness, and it is slightly salty, bright and clear, with a very long finish.
