The white wine »TM« Grauburgunder Wurzelfieber trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Theo Minges has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A pale brick red in colour. An aroma of rose hip confit, candied orange peel and warm sand. On the palate, the wine has a surprisingly supple impression, the fine but also tannic phenolics remain integrated and are constantly present on the palate. A lively acidity and delicate tactile minerality permeate the wine. Despite its powerful body, this is a subtle creature that will develop towards finesse as it matures in the bottle.
