The white wine Wiltingen Scharzhofberg Riesling Große Lage feinherb, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut von Hövel has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Slate savoury and balsamic typical of the site, also blood orange and herbs. Even cassis. On the palate the wine is very dense, with discreet phenolics, ripe but firm acidity and a transition to the finish made smooth by the fruit. Compact in the finish, hearty, good length.
