The white wine Chardonnay I, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
It has a strong new oak aroma, along with tinned corn, and flax. There is a very smooth attack on the palate, with immediately vivid sweetness, concentrated fruit, lots of texture, a mild acidity, and well-integrated alcohol, and it has a fatness with a lovely texture. It has great charm and is quite Californian in character.
